Dear Life,

You’ve thrown a lot of fucked up shit in my face, in particular putting people I dislike near me and taking the ones I love away. 

I just want to tell you one thing:

One of those days, someone’s gonna come along, and I’m gonna get to keep them. 

And as for the ones whom I’ve lost, there’re always memories, and you won’t get to take that away either.

In your fucking face, Life.

Happy New Year’s Eve, folks! It’s very comforting, knowing that somebody’s gonna be kissing somebody at midnight, while I stay in my bed, surrounded by my books and an excessive amount of self-pity.
