Gay Girls Problem #45: Most of the lesbian storylines on TV feature two conventionally attractive femme girls.

Even though I’m a femme who loves other femmes, I’m not at all comfortable with this kind of stereotype.

Besides, sometimes those storylines are so bland and underdeveloped that it feels like a half-ass attempt to earn more viewership from the queer community and to raise the show’s sex appeal.
